i've been going crazy over camera's recently, especially for the toy ones.
its been sometime since i had this kind of a passion and drive for something or someone.
yup. got the holga on a livejournal spree. the person is selling holgas really cheap compared to
other places such as ruby's... she's selling the black holga 120 GCFN for 75 bucks.

i got my polaroid from ebay, managed to snatch it from an american seller. freaking love the camera man. i saved a sum of money on the polaroid. i got it at S$30!!!! haha. thats including shipping. But i'm shipping it over to my brother's place in Indiana. my mum's on holiday in the states, she's living at my brothers place... so she'll be bringing the camera home with her. YES. haha.

I have always hated China made movies, but Getting home had me glued to the screen throughout the film. When Jared asked me to watch it on his Iphone i was very reluctant.

its the eve of CNY.
so much to do yet so little time.
school has still been a bitch as usual.
schoolwork aside, life has been pretty good.

wonder how my brother is doing in the states.
never heard from him since he went back to school in jan.
my mum's going over to visit in march.
she asked me to follow her, but she's going for a few weeks lah.
so in the end i cant go.

shit. my dad lent my car to a colleague of his.
who drove my car to malaysia for the lunar new year.

he did not even get my consent.
what am i going to do during the new year holidays without my car?

work work work.
after this coming mondays off.
9 straight working days, all through the christmas season.

but the great thing is that I have been enjoying every second
of work.

the people there are really the bomb man.

she goes around sneaking us sweets during work hours, while looking as if she's Wentworth Miller from prison break.
she also gets one of us part-timers to sneak off to get drinks from cold storage for everyone while she provides the money, and even asked me to take down orders from everyone in the store for what they want from Macdonalds during work hours! all her treat! imagine that!

she speaks to me in malay all the time because I'm able to speak and understand malay quite well.

yes. its that feeling again.
the feeling of "a lack of purpose in life after assessment is over"

the assessment week was as hectic as expected.
can finally take a breather now.
not very worried about the results
as long as i pass, its fine.

now that the holidays are here.
as a friend of mine suggested, i'm going to party like a rockstar.

there was actually the trip to new york to look forward to
but it got canceled after we already booked the tickets.
guess i'll be celebrating x'mas in singapore yet again.
the elder brother is coming back home from the states on the 19th of dec.
4 months since he left.

i need to get a job.

the past week has really been the bomb.
spent a few days still finishing up school work.
went to Le' en's dad's Ktv.
the dad paid for everything.
we sang like mad.
we drank like fishes.
we were drunk like idiots.
Sly cleaned, laughed and giggled his way through while taking everything down on video.
Le' en turned violent, peeing at anyone within 0.5 metres from him.
Gab whined and complained about Le' en being violent, while rattling on and on about his wet back and DAMN painful ear.

I slept.
so did Li Shan and Shi ming.
Anna just kept eating fruits.
Roger was around the area, so he joined us for awhile.

during the weekend we went for Genevieve's birthday at downtown east.
so there goes the week of holiday.

today the Hey gorgeous thing came to my school for filming.
got to meet all the artiste from mediacorp.

i think sly was the first to be interviewed for the day, dasmond koh dragged sly infront of the camera, while michelle tried asking me to join in, but i was so nervous, i went straight to the toilet leaving sly all by himself. haha. sorry la.

a big group of us accompanied gerome, theng and sly to go meet dasmond and michelle chong for their interviews.

i brought my slr along to school today.
so as they interviewed our stars, i just went trigger happy.

just when the filming for the interview ended, dasmond came to me asking if i could send him the pictures i took, he asked if i would be at the filming of the actual competition. I said most probably, so he told me to take his email from him after the show.

before the show started there was a crowd gathering at our schools lobby where the stage was, dasmond asked me over to the stage and gave me his email man.

wah i felt damn shiok la. like i've known him for years.
he asked me to take a picture of him together with fiona xie,michelle and ben yeo.
he asked me if i wanted to take with them. of course i did la. FIONA XIE leh.
woo.

it was such a pity none of our friends got in. but the experience was fun man.
all the guys and girls who took part were not really that good looking, except for the fist girl and the second guy.

the others all kinda suck. there were a few from china one. spoil our school image. fuck.

finally feel a tiny sense of relief from schoolwork.
done with projects like the chingay design drawing and flash.
we just have to hand up 4 instead of the initial 6 photos for photography.
but there's still graphic,advertising,icon award and design drawing's song book to think about.

the past few days has added to the sense of relief, with jokes being thrown out every other minute. thanks to sly and jared.

oh yah... theres a huge buzz going on about the hey gorgeous thing.

i'm almost reaching my breaking point with all the workload piling up in my room.
the room has never felt so un-home-like before.

i guess the stress has really taken a toll on my mental health
the recent bout of emo-ness is fucking unlike me.
i hate dwelling in a state of emo-ness. never liked it, never will.

now that my brother has left.

the elder brother left for Indiana.
leaving behind friends and loved ones at the airport's departure hall.
all looking and waving.
with everyone holding and hiding words and feelings and much much more.
it was till last night that it really started sinking in.
could have done more schoolwork, but i knew what was more important.
we chatted with junmin and shu en till two fifteen.
the night went past fast.
before i knew it, we were all at the departure hall hugging.
a gift and card were given.
a picture frame given by gab,jon,jerome,joel and junmin.
with pictures to remind of people at home.

The new school year has started...

yes!. got my black macbook... woohoo!. man... i feel so damn sexaaaay with it man. haha...

some new faces in class... awesome... whats better then making new friends?
with workload piling, fun is something i wont meet very often in the weeks to come.

before school started, had one whole month to do my own stuff.
the highlight was the camp that Gerome, Sly and I signed up for...
River Valley High School is an awesome school... cool teachers and kids they have there.
had a hell of a time facilitating my group together with sly.

went down to my old workplace to get some shorts for my bro who's leaving for the States in 11 days. Was nice to see Robertson,Andrew,Mimi,Huda and Fidah again... THE people who made the Adidas experience a blast.

its just the start of the week and its all going badly already.

the end of my working life with adidas
about time I really enjoyed my holidays
about a month left of it.

been busy with some small little stuff
The day before...
brought my "soon to be my car" for the twenty thousand kilometer servicing
Today.
went for the casting that Khim asked the nafa group and I to try out for.
we might get chosen for the fashion runway thing... have to wait till next week
if we get in... its going to be fun.
The actual thing will be held at Far East shopping center man... outside subway on the 6th of july.
anyway gerome will be modeling already
with all his piercings... its hard for people not to notice. haha...
spent the entire day with Gab,Sly,Gerome and Theng
laughed our asses off at whatever gerome could come up with.
man... all of us were shagged by the end of the day.

Its during these times that you realize things in life can still be simple if you allow it to be,
be it having a chill out session at Marina Squares Hong Kong cafe
or trying to laugh at a joke thats not even funny at all.

Its been awhile since I last went trigger happy with either of my camera's. I'm planning to make good use of my D80 one of these days... when I'm not working at least.
